We have got a tendency to find fault (only) with others. I am not glorifying the theft. They might have done due to their ignorance. What the organizers have told might be correct. In certain other states it is not "illegal" to have the electricity direct from public lines for such public functions.

രാംദേവ് വൈദ്യുതി മോഷണ കേസില്പെട്ടയാള്
തിരുവനന്തപുരം: അഴിമതിക്കും കള്ളപ്പണത്തിനുമെതിരെ പ്രക്ഷോഭം നടത്തുന്ന യോഗാചാര്യന് ബാബ രാംദേവ് കേരളത്തില് വൈദ്യുതി മോഷണ കേസില്പെട്ടയാള്.
മാസങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നടന്ന പൊതുപരിപാടിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് വൈദ്യുതി ലൈനില്നിന്ന് നേരിട്ട് വൈദ്യുതിയെടുത്തതിന് 25,000 രൂപ പിഴയടച്ചാണ് അന്ന് സ്വാമി കേസില് നിന്ന് ഊരിയത്. രണ്ടുമാസങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് പൂജപ്പുര മൈതാനത്ത് നടന്ന രണ്ടുദിവസ യോഗപരിശീലന പരിപാടിക്കാണ് വൈദ്യുതി മോഷ്ടിച്ചത്. വൈദ്യുതി ബോര്ഡിന്റെ അനുമതിയില്ലാതെ ലൈനില് നിന്ന് നേരിട്ടെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇത് ശ്രദ്ധയില്പ്പെട്ടതിനെ തുടര്ന്ന് പൊലീസിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ വൈദ്യുതി ബോര്ഡ് ജീവനക്കാര് പരിശോധന നടത്തുകയും മോഷണം കണ്ടെത്തുകയുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് തങ്ങള് പരിപാടി നടത്തുമ്പോള് മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില് ഇത്തരത്തിലാണ് വൈദ്യുതി എടുക്കുന്നതെന്ന വിശദീകരണമാണ് സംഘാടകര് നല്കിയത്. എന്നാല് അത് അംഗീകരിക്കാന് വൈദ്യുതി ബോര്ഡ് അധികൃതര് തയാറായില്ല. പിഴയൊടുക്കണമെന്നും അല്ലെങ്കില് കേസെടുത്ത് വാഹനങ്ങള് ഉള്പ്പെടെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുമെന്ന് പൊലീസ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കി. തുടര്ന്ന് പിഴയൊടുക്കാന് സംഘാടകര് തയാറാകുകയായിരുന്നു. രാംദേവിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് പിഴയൊടുക്കി സംഘാടകര്ക്ക് വൈദ്യുതി ബോര്ഡ് രശീത് നല്കിയത്.
