എം.എഫ്.ഹുസൈന്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു Posted on: 09 Jun 2011 ലണ്ടന്‍: വിഖ്യാത ചിത്രകാരന്‍ എം.എഫ്.ഹുസൈന്‍(95) അന്തരിച്ചു. ലണ്ടനിലെ ഒരു ആസ്പത്രിയില്‍ പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 2.30 ഓടെയായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരാഴ്ചയായി ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. ഹൈന്ദവ സംഘടനകളുടെ പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് 2006 മുതല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം സ്വയം പ്രഖ്യാപിത പ്രവാസ ജീവിതം നയിച്ചുവരുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പിക്കാസോ എന്നാണ് ഫോര്‍ബ്‌സ് മാസിക അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഹിന്ദു ദേവതയെ നഗ്നരാക്കി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചുവെന്ന വിവാദം രാജ്യത്ത് എം.എഫ്.ഹുസൈനെതിരെ വന്‍ പ്രതിഷേധത്തിനിടയാക്കിയിരുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ഖത്തര്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പൗരത്വം നല്‍കി.         With Regards Abi   "At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst" - Aristotle
