Friends, When Swami Chinmayananda was alive, he organized men to fight against this attitude of government, but nothing happened, The main reason is, Hindus are supposed to be living low profile, whenever they say anything supporting thier religion, they are considered communal. Think of a party in the name of Hinduism - say "Hindu leage", they will be immediately branded as working against other religions!! We are brainwashed into believing that Hindus should not have an organized group!! At the same time appeasement of Muslims and Christians is very much the order of the day. All the money coming into the monastires and mosques in the country is never checked or recerded for tax, that will open a pandoras box.. Hindus allow themselves and thier religion to be used by the goverment as profit making institutions.. Inspite of Crores being pumped into Govt 'khajanav' every year, facilities at Sabarimala is not at all improved.. Govt plays with sabarimala master plan and that never ends.. there is noboty to question.. Hindus can have justice if only they organize strongly, politically.. Especially now the minorities rule Kerala.. it won't be far away if a person form other religion would be incharge of Devaswam!!

The concept of 'minority' does not make any sense in a democratic country when its citizen has equal right. I could not find any convincing answer till date to the question why the government is giving preference to a minority when they equally enjoy the same freedom and equal rights in this democratic country? What is the basis for this consideration of a certain group as minority? If government's objective it is to make them a majority tomorrow then there will be a new minority who was a majority yesterday!
May be we require another bill such as 'Dharmapal' to 'control' the 'activities' in a Temple, Mosque, Church, etc. , I feel controlling that even 'only the money' of a certain religion is really an attempt to make those particular religion's believers look like stupids! How can 'someone' think that today's situation is a peaceful one as long as the government do not remove its stinking blinders?

We all know the terriost funding is done through this route(especially in Kerala), and it will stop once the mosques comes under Govt control. Please note the above is not to harm the belief of any religion, it's my observation toward the subject. I hope our wonderful government body looks into this matter or someone like Mr.Hazare to come forward to fight. NOW TAKE THE CASE OF MAJID IF GOVT IS TAKING OVER IT WILL BE BURDEN FOR THEM TO PAY THE SALARY OF MOULAVIS THOSE WHO ARE TEACHING IN MADRASSA . IN CHURCH IT WILL BE BURDEN FOR THEM TO FEED NUNS , NO BODY IS GOING TO DONATE EXTRA.THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COULD REACH IN THE HANDS OF ATHEST PEOPLE. NOW LET US THINK THAT THE SABARIMALA OR THE GURUVAYOOR TEMPLE HANDING OVER TO PEOPLE , THEN WHO WILL LOOK AFTER THE MONEY WILL REACH THE GREEDY PEOPLE . YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE BIG TEMPLE CONTROLLED BY TRUST IN OTHER PART OF COUNTRY .IT IS BETTER NOT TO DESTABLISE THE PEACEFULL SITUATION AVKandy@se.com.sa On Tue, Aug 23, 2011 at 8:31 AM, vimal Nair <vimalnair2002@hotmail.com> wrote: Dear Friends Has any one thought about this. Is that why only Hindu Temples are under DevasomBoard. Why is that Kerala Government only concentrating only on Hindu Temples. Why are they not having a board for Churches and Mosque. They have more money than a Temple. Is this aGovernmentfear. They know very well if they touchChurches and Mosque, they get there finger and body burnt. Or is that they can say and do anything for the Hindus. Is this because the Hindus are silent, broad minded and let them (Govt.) do what they want. Where is all the Organization ofHindus. Why are they keeping quiet. The recent remark by the an exauthority shows that they can rebuke, make any remark, abuse, destroy the tradition of Hinduism. Our state is considered to be an educated state.Where is all the educated mass. The study shows that any Temple under Trust function properly and systematically than a Temple under devasom board. Do the Government think that Hindu Temple has got more money than a Church and Mosque.A human being is born without any religion. Only the people has segregated this issue. This kind of apathy should be stopped by the Government. If they make a Board then this should be for all Or if they do not want any Board, then leave the Temples aside and leave it to the Trust. Could anybody give an answer for all this. Vimal Nair
